Hey folks and welcome to this week’s Around The Table! This week we have a site for you that will help you bring the setting of that pitched battle you have been dreaming about into reality and onto your table. Titan Terrain Studio is a group of gamers that have a passion for making the terrain pieces that the rules need and that just make the experience look really cool. Ruined modern buildings, trees, space ship hulks, and ancient ruins are some of the pieces they do (there are many more!), all waiting to be shipped to you. Titan Terrain Studio also builds custom display boards for those times you need to put your forces on parade. Lastly, if you don’t have the time to paint your miniatures they can help you with that as well.
Hello all and happy mid-week! Most if not all fantasy RPG gamers know that if you ask a dwarf “who builds it best” they will look at you like you’re slow and then exclaim “E’ry one knows dwarfs do!”. The folks over at Dwarven Forge will certainly tell you so too! From Dungeon to Tavern, Away mission to Ten Forward™ the crew at Dwarven Forge have you covered if you want to represent your gaming environments in 3D. They also have links to painting tutorials for their pieces for those new to painting and want to get the most out of their Dwarven Forge terrain.
Hello all and welcome yet again to another installment of Around The Table! This week we have for you a website that I have had bookmarked for a few years now as they have one of the most extensive offerings of miniatures bases that I have seen. The bases aren’t just for war gaming my friends. You can use them easily with your favorite miniatures based board games if the miniatures are of the correct size.Their signature product is their Tablescapes™ line which consists of injection molded 1′ x 1′ plastic tiles with surfaces shaped into various types of terrain. Their system allows you to link these tiles together to create “your” battlefield. Secret Weapon Miniatures is a site that should not be kept secret as with a little time spent reviewing their bases to find the right aesthetic match you will greatly increase the fidelity and value of your game night pursuits!
Hey folks and welcome to another Around The Table! This week we bring to your attention a site that will set the scene for the moments you decide to do tabletop battle. Battleboards is a UK based site that offers everything from 2D battlemats to 3D terrain which will allow you to create a high degree of fidelity to the setting in which you fight. They ship anywhere and produce pieces that range from historical to alternate realities. Looking at many of the pieces it is clear that a very high level of detail is put into making the pieces with frozen terrain pieces having icicles hanging from rock structures as an example. Battleboards also offers backdrops which you can hang on the wall behind your table terrain board and with some creative photography create movie quality battle scene pictures.
Hello gamers and welcome to another edition of Around The Table where we spotlight websites that will elevate the quality of your gaming time! This week we’re going back to class with the Elderwood Academy where you can pick up an assortment of dice towers, trays, dice boxes, spellbook boxes and other goodies. The spellbooks are very cool and you have a number of options to choose from to build your own box, including the interior layout, which better facilitates that perfect individual solution. I’m personally impressed with their dice towers as their look and the style options appeal to my gaming aesthetic.
