Glorious battle, underworld undead, and quick on the draw…
- Runewars Miniatures Game: It’s official, Runewars Miniatures Game is available for purchase at many fine retailers and etailers! If you are a veteran of tabletop fantasy wargaming this game brings some new aspects into play that look to create some interesting games. The maneuver tools, and the rank and file system with the square bases interlocking to create larger units look like quality of life improvements. There’s always room on the shelf for another fantasy wargame, right!
- Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire: A new faction has been revealed with the announcement of the Sepulchral Guard. These former warriors of Shadespire differ from your common variety undead in that they have a small spark of memory from their previous lives. How or if that translates into game rules remains to be seen. GW advises that while these units won’t be individually as strong as those in other factions they will make up for it in fielding more troops and possessing some synergistic abilities to bolster the base troops.
- Aces & Eights: Reloaded: The second edition of Aces & Eights: Reloaded has met its base level of funding and is moseying on down the trail of stretch goals! This western themed RPG is stressed as not being a reprint by Kenzer and Company and is said to be “chock-full of new rules, tweaks, art and other enhancements.” One system of particular note is the Shot-clock system which, in a nutshell, combines a d20 roll and a playing card draw to determine where your bullets land, IF they land. Currently there are 40 days left to make up your mind if you want to saddle up!
